The township
Vejer de la Frontera is located to the South West of the province of Cádiz and it extends on the area adjacent to the Region of La Janda, to its West. It borders with the Atlantic, Conil, Chiclana, Medina Sidonia, Tarifa and Barbate.
The village is built on a hill that, crossed by the river Barbate, goes down to it with a pronounced slope, the reason of such wonderful views.
It is located 54 kilometers far from the capital, and you can access to it easily through the road A-48. The strategic location makes it accessible through different ways. By plane, reaching the airport of Jerez, 55 km far; the airport of Sevilla, 140 far; the Gibraltar one, 90 km far or the one from Málaga, 203 km far from it, using the highway from the airport to the village.
As well, it is possible to come by train to the station of San Fernando, located 32 km far from Vejer de la Frontera.
